Hi, I’m Hale, founder of My Conveyancing VA, and someone who’s worked inside the same fast-paced, high-stakes environment our clients navigate every day.
Before starting this agency, I supported Australian law firms and settlement agents directly as a Conveyancing Virtual Assistant. I wasn’t on the sidelines. I was fully embedded in their daily operations. From file openings and data entry to preparing documents, updating PEXA, and managing workflows across multiple tools, I gained firsthand insight into what conveyancers and legal support teams truly need: reliable help, real skills, and the ability to take initiative.
My background spans more than eight years in the BPO and call centre industry, where I held roles in sales, customer service, e-commerce, and collections. Those experiences taught me how to communicate effectively, stay resilient, and support clients under pressure — skills that became invaluable when I transitioned into conveyancing.
In 2019, I became a File Manager for a Victoria-based conveyancing firm with a satellite office in Makati, Philippines. That was my introduction to the legal property space, where I learned systems like PEXA and Duties Online, and saw the level of precision and speed the work requires. I later supported clients from Western Australia and Queensland as well, working with platforms such as Leap, Actionstep, Landgate, and Realtime Conveyancer.
When the pandemic hit, I — like many others — had to reassess my path. I shifted to full-time virtual assistance, continuing to support conveyancers remotely. Over time, I noticed a pattern: clients weren’t just looking for a VA. They needed someone trained, proactive, and aligned with their workflow. As more firms reached out for help and referrals, I knew I couldn’t do it all alone — and I didn’t want to.
That’s when I saw the real opportunity: not just to serve, but to build something that serves more people with the same care, quality, and integrity. That’s how My Conveyancing VA was born.
We’re not a high-volume BPO, and we’re not a generalist VA agency. We’re a boutique partner built specifically for the conveyancing and property law space — offering only trained and experienced Virtual Assistants who are ready to make an impact from day one.
Today, I personally screen every VA we onboard, ensure the right client matches, and stay involved throughout the engagement to make sure both sides are supported. We don’t overpromise, and we don’t pretend to know everything about your internal systems which is why we collaborate with our clients, giving them space to train their VAs on the tools and processes that matter most.
I believe no conveyancer or law firm should burn out trying to do it all. With the right support, operations can run smoother, client service improves, and teams feel more in control.
